In 1985 Marinella Camerani made the decision to live in the country to pursue her dream of returning to her family roots living on the land. She has invested all of her resources and energy in revitalizing what had been her family’s weekend country estate above the village of Mezzane de Sotto. Prior to her interest in wine production there had been no serious winemaking endeavor there. Marinella set about the arduous task of restoring the vineyards, which, as she likes to point out, are her great passion. She began the first vinification completely without any serious winemaking background. Making the most of her own knowledge and taking the advice of expert consultants, she established an identity for the wines of her estate by creating a sterling example of the zone’s most representative wine
